HPA's Newly developed Dog Bone mount for the MQB chassis carrys forward the same technology from our popular Core Interlock mount with additional comfort added built in to the urethane puck. This must have upgrade gives you instant throttle response with little to no vibration. Includes CNC machined and aluminum torque arm and hardware. I just had this installed this past weekend, and my oh my has it done wonders! The inherent sloppiness within the MK7's manual trans has been nullified one step further. I must say I also have a short shifter, weighted knob, and a stainless clutch line with bleeder block. Like another reviewer had noted, I initially was alarmed when I felt quite a bit more cabin vibration upon startup, but after a couple hundred miles of break-in, I couldn't be more thrilled. Whatever magical material HPA used for this puck is the perfect balance of tight and forgiving. It has transformed the experience of shifting and launch for me. Buy this now!

I had the dog bone mount and the short shift kit installed at the same time. Made a great difference when changing gears under hard acceleration. Highly recommend this mount
Had this dog bone on my GTI ever since I bought from Waterfest two years ago. At first vibrations were noticeable during idling. It slowly went away as it break in after couple hundred miles. Shifts are no longer sloppy at high rpms. It definitely tighten up the connection between engine and transmission. Whenever I go on a sprited drive, I can feel the improvement of having this upgrade. Highly recommend this!
VW should have this from factory, even with the DSG it makes the feel much more direct. It is not a placebo effect. Very mild NVH while being broken in, wife didn't even notice. (best litmus test) Thanks HPA!
