Optimized shift response and driving experience

Our DSG tune performance thrives on a dynamic synergy between shift call-outs, engine load, driver demand, and mechanical execution. It’s all about maintaining a harmonious balance among these elements to ensure that the integrated systems collaborate seamlessly without exceeding their inherent limitations. This intricate interplay not only enhances efficiency but also elevates the overall driving experience.

Calibrated Tunes within the OEM framework

HPA has a rich development history of creating many examples of ECU calibrations yielding supercar-crushing performance, without compromising OEM drivability. Each tune is developed on our Superflow Dyno and calibrated to each vehicle in accordance with that vehicle’s VIN, ECU software / version, and supporting performance modifications.

Developed on the track, adapted for the street

Informed by our motorsports heritage, our tuning is focued on optimizing performance as a daily driver, rather than producing an impressive dyno result that does not translate to drivability on the street. As a general rule, we prioritize immediate throttle response, early torque onset/peak, and a smooth, linear power delivery for all of our tuning programs, while doing so with no compromises.

  • Completely Optimized D & Sport Mode Shifting
  • In-Dash Gear Display
  • Progressive Shift Response
  • Customizable Launch Control RPM (Default is 3750 RPM / Customer to request preferred RPM)
  • Shortened Gear Shifts (Paddle and Lever)
  • Increased Clutch Pressures to support higher torque output
  • Increased Time in Manual Mode Before Reverting to D & Sport Mode
  • Torque limit increased (a necessity for Stage 2 power level and above)
  • Smooth and Intuitive Overall DSG Driving Experience
