Calling all Gran Turismo fans. If you spent hours in the garage menus of the PlayStation era, there’s a good chance you’ve already driven an HPA. To mark 35 years in business, HPA Motorsports has released a limited-edition pin collection celebrating the cars that went from the SEMA show floor to the game console, and the VR6 history behind them.
The set of four traces the story of the internationally recognized VW and Audi performance builder: the retro HPA logo from its early days, the Beetle RSI, and the two cars that won HPA the SEMA Gran Turismo Award. The twin-turbo MK4 R32 took it first in 2004, and HPA did it again three years later with the Audi TT in 2007.
Each pin is a 1.5" x 0.75" soft enamel design with a black dyed metal finish and double black rubber clutches, and the run is limited to 500. The collection goes on sale November 3rd, the anniversary of HPA’s first Gran Turismo Award win. For fans of Gran Turismo, HPA, or the VR6, they make an easy holiday gift with real history behind it. The cars earned their place in the game. Now they can earn a place in your collection.
